The JamHub sounds like an absolutely fabulous rehearsal tool and a possible live monitoring solution but....................here's my dilemma. I play guitar in a 5 piece covers band and the line up is: Drums - Roland TD 6, Guitar - Line 6 Vetta II, Bass - Boss ME-20B, Keyboards x3 - V-Synth / Fanthom / Korg and a main vocalist. To complicate it even more, drums and guitar do backing vocals. So in total we have 6 instruments and 3 vocals.
How can we achieve the best from JamHub? The fact the greenroom and tourbus have 7 inputs means that drums/vox and guitar/vox would use 1 channel for both (instrument and vocal) but my concern is that you cannot independently control the volume of instrument and vocal, just both together. Is it possible to daisy chain JamHubs? Maybe a bedroom for the 3 keyboards, that mixed into one greenroom/tourbus channel, that then leaves 6 more channels so all the vocals can have a separate channel as well as the remaining instruments?
I look forward to any thoughts and suggestions.
Cheers,
Rob
